Grapes - 75% Folgasão and 25% Viosinho (merge the two, and you get "Folgasinho")
Terroir - Fora do Tedo is made with purchased grapes, hence the name which translates to “Outside of Tedo”. Our estate vineyards' lower-elevation and warmer climate sites with more schist soils are well adapted for red grapes to make rosé and red Douro DOC Wines and Portos, but white grapes express best in higher-elevatiom cooler climate sites, with more granitic soils.
Winemaking - Fermented with native yeast and aged 10 months sur lie in 3 materials – neutral oak barrel, cocciopesto amphore and glass Wine Globe. Unfined and unfiltered.

See - lemon yellow
Smell - saline, mineral and fresh; lime zest and preserved lemon; sublte herbal nuances (green tea, tarragon)
Sip - dry with vibrant acidity that balances the saline and voluminous mouthfeel and long length
Enjoy - now or within 2-3 years, cold (10°C/50°F) with cheeses, salads with toasted seeds and herbs, roasted chicken and vegetables, pastas and risottos, seafood and curry dishes
